About
Madeline Dixon is a recent graduate of Clemson University, where she majored in Performing Arts with a concentration in Stage Lighting. She fell in love with lighting in high school, and she enjoys lighting design, programming, and stage electrics. Madeline’s design experience includes the Clemson Player’s production of The Tempest and Stop Kiss at Clemson University, Moonlight & Magnolias at The Pelzer Auditorium, the Warehouse Theatre’s tour of Macbeth, and Willy Wonka at Christ Church Episcopal School. Madeline also enjoys assistant lighting design, and recently assisted in the productions of Bright Star, John Proctor is the Villain, and Legally Blonde: The Musical. She has experience as a master electrician, stage electrician, light board programmer, light board operator, and spotlight operator, both in a professional and educational setting.
Madeline is also a musician! She minored in music at Clemson as a percussionist. She has been a member of many Clemson University bands and ensembles including the Tiger Band (Drumline), Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Steel Band, and Gigging Steel Band. In her free time, Madeline enjoys painting, hiking the mountains of upstate South Carolina, and spending time with her friends.
